CONTROLLED DISPOSITION SERVICES
- DRS processes returned goods and unsaleables
from the reclamation centers, warehouses and distribution centers of
grocery and CPG industry retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. Using our own fleet of
trucks DRS schedules pickups, as necessary, on a nationwide basis. At its regional processing centers, DRS sorts, scans and
assigns damage causal codes to all items received and disposes of
these items according to the manufacturer's criteria. Disposition
alternatives include resale to approved secondary market customers,
donation to approved charities or food banks, return to manufacturer
and disposal as trash. In support of controlled secondary markets
sales for the manufacturers, DRS also operates several warehouse
outlet stores. Contact the DRS Customer Marketing Department
